I've practiced Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Law exclusively for over 25 years. That's because I truly enjoy seeing the look of relief on people's faces when they hear how it works and, of course, after it's over. My staff and I are dedicated to doing an excellent job handling your case, but we also all share the desire to listen, give advice, and make people happier.

More people come to me from Marion, Lake, Sumter, Citrus, and other counties than to any other bankruptcy law firm. We offer compassionate and expert help at an affordable price, including flexible payment plans. Most importantly, while you're making these payments, we will accept all your creditor calls.

I grew up in Miami and moved to Gainesville to go to college after high school. I attended the University of Florida for both my undergraduate and law degrees. In law school, I was an executive editor of the Law Review (upper 10% of class). I then worked for a large law firm in Jacksonville for my first year, was in a partnership in Ocala for many years, and since 1998, I've been on my own.

Although I'm proud of my academic credentials, I think experience is more important. I've gotten to know the Judges, Trustees, and other people in the court system. My advice is based on practicalities; not theory. I think one reason I decided to practice bankruptcy law is that I knew what it was like to grow up with very little money. My father worked two jobs and my mother was very ill. I had to struggle financially to get through law school and came out owing a lot of money. But it was worth it because I now have the pleasure of helping others. I feel badly when I can't help a client, but those cases are rare. Nothing makes my day like the spontaneous hug from a client as I'm saying goodbye, because I've shown that client that there really is help and hope.
